NIMCET is a nationwide exam for admissions to MCA programs in top NITs. Held annually, it offers entry to the Master’s in Computer Application (MCA) program at participating NITs.
Who Should Apply? If you’re aiming for an MCA degree and want to join top NITs, you should apply for the NIMCET exam. Successful candidates are allotted seats at different NIT campuses based on their rankings.
Competition and Seats Each year, 25,000 candidates compete for 805 seats across 11 NITs in India. Your NIMCET score will determine your admission to NITs in cities like Bhopal, Allahabad, Agartala, Calicut, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Jamshedpur, Tiruchirappalli, Surathkal, and Warangal.
Beyond NITs Many other colleges and institutions also use NIMCET scores for their MCA programs.
NIMCET Eligibility Criteria ✅
Nationality: Indian nationals only.
Age: No upper age limit.
Educational Qualification: Must have a B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BCA, or BIT degree with Mathematics or Statistics as one subject, OR Must have a BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university.
Academic Performance: Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% or 6 CGPA for SC/ST candidates).
Graduates: Must present qualifying exam degree and submit required documents by the second week of May 2024.
Open Institution Graduates: Must have completed B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.), BCA, or BIT programs approved by UGC, AICTE, and DEC

2.Select the appropriate link to register for NIMCET .
3.Fill out the required details to complete the registration.
4.After registering, fill in the application with necessary details.
5.Upload a scanned copy of your ID and signature.
6.Pay the application fees online using a credit/debit card or Internet banking.
7.Once the fees are paid, the application form will be automatically submitted.
8.After final submission, a PDF of the form will be created. Download and print the PDF.
